LIFT is a PLATFORM that engages with architectural culture in Sarajevo and its wider region. Over the years, we have developed 12 dynamic VECTORS that connect with architecture, culture, and industry on multiple levels.

From the FESTIVAL Days of Architecture Sarajevo as our main biennial gathering to EVENTS like Nights of Architecture Sarajevo that spark focused, one-topic discussions, we create spaces for dialogue and experimentation—by engaging our CURATORS, who collaborate with us to bring additional vision and critical reflections. Our LABS function as think tanks for research, pushing architectural discourse forward, while COMPETITIONS open up opportunities for original ideas and emerging talent. Through SPATIAL interventions and prototyping, we blend community engagement with practice, activating public space and fostering new urban narratives.

The Fresh&Bold AWARD celebrates projects that redefine architectural boundaries and societal impact. PUBLICATIONS document and amplify these processes, extending our influence beyond the immediate, while our MERCH transforms our themes and messages into everyday culture.

At the core of our PLATFORM are three fundamental community VECTORS: FORCE—a collective of architects and creatives whose energy and expertise drive everything we do; a growing NETWORK of professionals, institutions, and collaborators; and the essential SUPPORT of partners and individuals who stand behind what we do.
