The competition task encompasses the chosen segment of the “Ciglane” residential area in Sarajevo, an example of modern housing in the back then young socialist state of Yugoslavia. From a pool of 81 submissions, 20 projects were selected to be part of the exhibition.

Continuous Interior
Today, we live in the state of the Anthropocene. Condition and space that is established solely by human activities and global developments. The city as a center of development and location of urban change ceases to be the sole place of development, analysis and research of urban planning and architecture.
Continuous Interior, the theme of Days of Architecture 2017 invited commentary on the way we live and work, and what those living working and common spaces look like.

Space of Freedom
Attuned to the 2018 Days of Architecture theme – Freedom of Space, we invited the public to reimagine the Trebevic bob-sledge track. A space which became an informal postapocalyptic symbol and a popular social media subject, but more importantly, an inspiration for new scenarios and uses, thus imagining an alternative present and future.
Out of 35 submissions from 11 countries, 7 of them presented their works at the Days of Architecture Festival through a Pecha Kucha format, for the winner of the competition to be selected.
